In the midst of the hospital appointments, sometimes the things going on in the world are the furthest from my mind. I knew very little about the Junior Doctor strike that had been going on. In fact, I am happy to say that I was not aware of the strike, because there was no change in the care and attention we were given.
We encountered the picketers one day outside Great Ormond Street Hospital. As we walked by, Henry waved and said hello to everyone and quickly became a mascot as the junior doctors posed with him sporting his ‘support badge.’
